An Unexpected Ending

I recently heard back from a client, who had a wonderful update for me. Her Father, in his 70s was never sure who his Father was, family rumor stated that when his Mothers husband he came home from WW2 and found his wife pregnant, that he accused his best friend, and left her.

Using her Dad's DNA results I was able to figure out that indeed the best friend was his Father, sadly, he had already passed, and had no other known living children of his own(I will touch on this in a bit).

The daughter reached out to his Father step son and was met with wonderful news, his step brother said had been praying that a family member would come forward to take possession of the deceased mans war medals, photographs and other memorabilia, including his Purple Heart. Her Father was thrilled to be able to put a face to the name and to become the recipient of his Fathers items.

Now, back to the Bio Father not having any other known children, turns out he had another son that he didnt know about as well, now if we could get that half brother to come to the reality that his Father wasnt who he thought it was, he'd have a half brother too.
